Sandbridge Wedding at The Baja
Sandbridge Wedding at The Baja:
Kevyn & Michael had their beautiful Sandbridge wedding and reception at The Baja Restaurant. For the getting ready part of the day, Kevyn was at a nearby beach house and Michael was at The Sanctuary condos on the beach. Kevyn & Michael wanted to do a first look at Sandbridge beach and the images were stunning! Kevyn’s colors of light teal and pink went perfectly with the colors of the beach and the colorful condos in the distance. We then moved right into the wedding party photos as well. I thought that it was pretty cool that Kevyn had a bridesman and Michael had a groomsmaid as part of their wedding party! We of course made the groomsmaid hold a bouquet and be silly with the girls! Too cute! The groomsmaid on the other hand, got to hang with all the guys and be silly too! I had so much fun with this large wedding party. At the end of our time on the beach, the bride said she had one last photo request: she wanted everyone running from a giant shark in the water. I laughed and realized she was serious, so we all had fun with it and all the wedding party did their best acting job to look as though there were really getting chased by a shark! I did the rest of the magic in photoshop and I have to say, it is a pretty funny photo! What a great idea! 🙂
We all headed over to The Baja restaurant for the ceremony and reception. These two had such a beautiful wedding ceremony, filled with hand written vows, emotion and tears. I had a hard time keeping it together. This is why I love what I do! Being around people in love just makes you happy. I can’t forget another unique part of this wedding, instead of the standard sand pouring, these two did a whiskey pouring ceremony! How cool is that? The night continued with a first dance under the tent and the rest of the party in the restaurant. They had such a fun crowd with lots of dancing and fun being had by all. For the big send off Kevyn and Michael walked hand in hand through an aisle of bubbles and we all wished the best for the newly married couple. Congrats Kevyn & Michael and thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your big day!
