Neon District Senior Session
Senior Session at the Neon District in Downtown Norfolk:
neurontin mg We ventured downtown to Norfolk’s Neon District to capture Jevon’s senior portraits. I have been wanting to do a session here for a bit and was excited when Jevon and his mom were up for location suggestions. It has been such a rainy year so far, it was actually pouring cats and dogs (and hailing) when we arrived and I asked them to wait about 15 minutes to see if it would pass. Thank goodness they did because it ended up being a really beautiful evening for photos! We started off at “The Plot” and wandered around to various streets and buildings to find some really cool murals for his photos. What a fun adventure! Did I mention that Jevon plays not one instrument, but two! He brought both his saxophone and trumpet and wanted some photos with each. Jevon’s mom had her heart set on a sunset photo with her son playing an instrument. The sky was still pretty cloudy from the storm, so we followed the light until we came to a hill with the sun setting in the distance. I asked him to hop on a wall for this particular shot and he did great holding his balance and an instrument, what a good sport. 🙂 Can you all spot the heart in the clouds in this image? How cool is that? Before we knew it the sun was down and our senior session was over, I can’t remember an hour going by so fast! Time really does fly when you are having fun. Congrats Jevon!
