Williamsburg Winery Wedding – Somer & Tim
Williamsburg Winery Wedding:
Somer & Tim had their beautiful wedding at Williamsburg Winery. Somer chose a rustic theme with hints of dusty rose and pops of burgundy. I loved her classic flower choices as well for the bouquets and table decor. We started the day off with the girls getting ready at Wedmore Place and the guys in the next building over at the winery. Before the ceremony, Somer had first looks with Dad and then with her Groom downstairs in the pavilion at Wedmore Place. If time permits I always recommend doing a first look before the ceremony, especially with the rainy summers we have in Virginia. A first look might be the only opportunity to get outside formal photos on your day if the weather takes a turn for the worse later in the day. Luckily for Somer & Tim there was nothing but bright sunny skies. They had their heartfelt ceremony outside and we continued on with family and wedding party formals as the sun set behind the trees in the background. We were able to take advantage of the pretty golden light glow which of course made my day! Of course we had to get cellars shots as well, so we headed to the cellar with my lighting in tow and snuck a few shots as well. The night continued with first dances, emotional toasts, lots of dancing and ended with a bubble send off. Congrats you two! I had so much being part of your big day! 🙂
A big thank you to Kelsey McLain with Chickadee Events, Milk and Honey Bride for the gorgeous dress, Darling and Dapper for Hair & Makeup, The Flower Cupboard, Extraordinary Cupcakes, my husband Bobby with HeyDJ and the officiant Richard Keever.
Here are some highlights, enjoy!
